Brandon d’Leo was born in Long Island, New York, 1969. He is known for his steel sculpture – freestanding, wall-mounted reliefs, and suspended works. A self-taught sculptor, he has been working for the past sixteen years with steel and other industrial materials including aluminum, titanium, concrete, rubber, and wood. While residing in California, he completed works for both public and private collections, and exhibited at galleries in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Since 2001 when d’Leo returned to New York, he has been creating large scale public work. He is presently working on a three year project with Bloomingdale’s - a series of massive, 30-foot suspended mobile structures/installations for select locations nationwide.
Brandon d’Leo works from his studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York. He has exhibited in London, Australia, and New York City including shows at NYU- Washington Square East Galleries.
